Main Aim of the Job

To support the Sales Team by ensuring all customer orders, enquiries and queries are dealt with efficiently and accurately so that customers receive the best customer service and that all sales and marketing opportunities are fully exploited from all customer contact, promoting best possible perception at all times.

Principal Performance Objectives

• Answer customer enquiries and follow up with customers about their order status.

• Create and process orders in a timely manner, processing requests for rush orders and review pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Manage customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses and other problems.

• Handle administrative duties for the sales team.

Essential Baseline Work Experience

• Proven work experience as a Sales Support Specialist

• Hands on experience with CRM systems

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel

• In-depth understanding of customer service practices

• Excellent communication skills

• Analytical and multitasking skills

• Teamwork and motivational skills

• Ability to manage own time/prioritise

• Communication skills

• Listening skills
